BackerKit Locking Down November 1! + Email Notifcations

Calling all rollers! 

We just wanted to remind everyone if they want to make changes to the BackerKit you only have a couple days left to do it. If you want to add any additional games or other games from Golden Bell now is the time; and if you message them maybe they can surprise you with a special discount or something; just let us know what you want! 

On the responding side; I just figured out what was going on with messages. Usually all KS messages are forwarded to our email; for some reason they were bouncing back; they are NOW working I've checked it and confirmed this myself. If anyone is still awaiting a response please resend it because it means we haven't gotten it VIA email (our KS inbox has thousands of messages and it's impossible for us to sift through) Thanks again y'all!

Mystery Box Voting

Our grand total for the Mystery Box came in under $2000, and we guaranteed a die for every $3000.

We've discussed it, and decided the best solution is to pretend we made it to $3000.  That means everyone gets one last die!

We've started a new thread for discussion and voting on BGG.

If you don't have a BGG account and still want to vote, leave your vote in the comments to this update.  If ideas are submitted here, I'll put them on the BGG thread for voting.  But remember, only one submission per backer.

Voting will end October 31st.  

(As a note, we have until production is finished for all orders of the new boxed game before we need to have The Lost King finalized, which is how we're able to still make changes)

Delivery Update

Delivery Estimate

We've been getting a lot of questions about whether we're still on schedule for December delivery.  I've been waiting on estimates from the factory, as well as information from backerkit to determine if we're still on schedule.  I'm officially announcing that we will not be able to deliver by December.  The short explanation is that this project grew unexpectedly huge, but I was still hoping we could hammer things out in time.  That's not realistic.  The size of the project will require us to reprint all of the expansions, and we're making sure all of the previous dice sets are organized in the best possible way.  We're also putting in time to make sure the Solo and Coop modes will be substantive and add greatly to the game rather than just being tagged on (like last time, *cough, cough*).

Frankly, we added a lot of last minute elements that required new play-testing.  But I didn't want to announce a delay until I was positive we couldn't hit our initial estimate.    For those of you that this will effect, we will be fulfilling Epic Dice first, since it is still scheduled for a December release.

We'll release an update in the near future with details about coop mode, solo mode, mystery box funds, and our new estimated shipping schedule.  So please hold tight for now.

Backerkit Questions

I see there's a lot of concern in the comments, and I thought a new update was the best way to address everyone that's waiting for a response.

We're working to answer everyone's questions, but a lot of the issues need to be resolved on backerkit's end.

We're getting hundreds of e-mails, so please be patient.  Right now, I would say that more than 90% of the questions fall into two groups.  1 - The backer gets some sort of discount, and the process of sorting these out with Backerkit is slow.  2 - We made some sort of odd deal with the backer.  This one is easy to solve and can simply be listed in the special instructions on your survey.  We'll sort it all out at delivery.  

If your issue does not fall into one of those two groups, please feel free to send us a new e-mail and I'll respond to you within a day or two.  Right now, it's difficult to sort out the urgent e-mails from the complex but not urgent ones.  

So, to repeat.  If you're frustrated at the delay in responding to your issue, please send a new e-mail and I will prioritize those.  Thank you.

BackerKit Additional Updates + More!

Hey all you rollers!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the BackerKit is out and is already 75% filled! We are making great headway on this and wanted to let you know that we're way ahead of schedule with this! There seem to be a few select people that still have some issues but we're sorting those out individually and want to make sure you all know you're going to be taken care of and there won't be any issues with your order so sit tight everyone!

Another awesome game on Kickstarter that you will definitely want to check out! :)
